Bushisms 2004

Top five Stupid things Bush said this year.
1. "We will make sure our troops have all that is necessary to complete their missions. That's why I went to the Congress last September and proposed fundamental — supplemental funding, which is money for armor and body parts and ammunition and fuel."
Sept. 4, 2004
2. "I hope you leave here and walk out and say, "What did he say?"
Aug. 13, 2004
3. "I want to thank my friend, Senator Bill Frist, for joining us today. You're doing a heck of a job. You cut your teeth here, right? That's where you started practicing? That's good. He married a Texas girl, I want you to know. Karyn is with us. A West Texas girl, just like me."
May 27, 2004
4. "Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we."
Aug. 5, 2004
5. "Let me put it to you bluntly. In a changing world, we want more people to have control over your own life."
Aug. 9, 2004

August hasn't been kind to Bush, here's to four more years of laughing at our President and scratching our heads.

What is Happening to America

I am at a complete loss of words as to what happened on November 2, 2004.
I can't believe that 763,332 people would vote for a man who says that we should abolish the U.S. department of Education. This to me is just crazy.
He also says he's pro-life but that doctors who perform abortions should receive the death penalty.
So much for pro-life. How can you be pro-life and at the same time be pro-death penalty?
He's pro-life but in 2000 he introduced in the House The Presence of Life Resolution.
This stated the heartbeat is detectable 24 days after conception
and within 41 days the brain waves are detectable.
This doesn't sound like pro-life to me.
He also says there should be a ban on abortions except when the life of the mother is in danger. Yet The American Life League says "abortion is never necessary to save a mother's life." This again doesn't sound like pro-life to me.
So everyone that thought they were voting for a pro-life senator were mislead.

This is just one state; they are many other states where I'm just scratching my head wondering why people voted for these idiots.
The only reason I can come up with is they are Republicans. So they are morally better than Democrats.

The Great Manipulator Wins

The Great Manipulator Wins the Presidential Elections.
I guess people really believed his lies.
Christians are pro-life yet they don't care if we blow-up little babies in IRAQ. STRANGE.
Don't they know that in 2000, one year before Bush went to the White House the abortion rate was at a 24 year low.
You would think that it would go even lower with Bush as President but during the Bush's adminastration there are more abortions.
For example in just three years Colorado's abortion rates went up 111%.
Bush's is to blame for the increase in abortion because,
1. He banned the morning after pill, which wouldn't kill a baby just prevent a pregnancy.
2. He has stopped federal funding for sex education that teaches teens how to protect themselves from unwanted pregnancy as well as help prevent the spread of diseases.
3. Most importantly his economic policies have had the most impact on the abortion rate rising.
The ladies were mostly unemployed, uninsured, they couldn't afford to raise a baby.
In fact if you take the rate decline in 2000 into consideration 52,000 more babies died in 2002 because Bush was in the white house.
I have heard some say that you can't blame Bush for the increase in abortion, it's the fault of girls who are willing to sleep with anyone.

I have one question for those of you who believe Bush isn't to blame.
Why did the abortion rate go up with George H Bush, down with Bill Clinton and then back up with George W Bush?

I wonder if the Moral voters really believe Bush will abolish abortions. There is no way that W will stop abortions, in fact if these trends keep going there will be more babies killed than if we had elected Kerry.

Don't get me wrong I am very religious and I teach my kids about Christ. I tell my kids that he loved everyone and that it's wrong to hate people because they are different or have different beliefs than us.

Voted today

I belive in God, am a Democrat, and proud to be an American.
I voted for Kerry today. Of course there are some that say I'll go to hell for voting for Kerry.

Just like when my little girl came running home one day crying, her friends said she was going to hell because she dressed like a Princess and went trick-or-treating. I let my kids trick or treat but I do have rules, they can't dress-up like the devil or something evil. What is the harm of letting my little girl dress up like a Princess for Halloween.
